I’ve always loved making things with my hands. Give me some fabric, yarn, thread, or a new idea and chances are I’m already thinking about what I can turn it into.

Salty Gran grew from my love of creating one-of-a-kind pieces that are fun, useful, giftable, and made with a little personality. From crochet and sewing to machine embroidery and handcrafted décor, everything you see here is created with care and usually a little bit of sass.

For me, handmade has always meant more than simply making something. It’s about creating the things you can’t find everywhere else. The bag someone asks you about, the gift that feels personal, or the piece that makes you smile every time you see it.

I’m also a very proud Gran to six amazing grandchildren, who keep life fun, busy, and full of inspiration. And yes, they may have had a little something to do with the name Salty Gran. 😉

Most of all, I love the idea that something I made in my little corner of the world can become part of yours.
